Biopolymers or bio-based plastics are an important and fast growing alternative to oil based plastics. Currently being utilized mostly in packaging and clothing, the market for biopolymers in consumer electronics are growing. This webinar will explore the key market segment from financial, ecologic and technology standpoints.
- Bio-based plastics grow at 30% per annum globally.
- Economy, ecology, and technology drive the change.
- Significant pull from OEMs in most markets segments.
- Electronics is a key market segment for durable bio-based plastics
- Performance spectrum expands rapidly.
- Lower CO2 emissions and energy consumption in the value chain.
- Moving away from food chain competition.
